Multivis

Certified protective visor, from pilot line to industrial production.

Multivis protective visor developed by Matglow

Multivis turned a pilot production line of visors, already authorised by the Portuguese health and food safety authorities (DGS and ASAE), into an industrial production line, and allowed the visors to keep improving. They were used in care homes, fire brigades, factories and schools.

Objectives and activities

  • Protection against the COVID-19 virus
  • Support for care homes, fire brigades and other essential services
  • Visor approved to EN 166 and EN 168, category 1, Regulation (EU) 2016/425 (certificate no. 0789020, 07/08/2020)

Other projects

UVTizer device with its UV-C lamp arms open Security and defence UVTizer Mobile device that disinfects surfaces and air with UV-C radiation. Aluminium prototype of the 4AM platform, with seats and wheels, in the Matglow workshop E-mobility 4AM Universal, modular platform for EPAC vehicles, with renewable energy harvesting. Matglow UV-C gantries installed between the rows of an experimental vineyard Agrifood UVineSafe UV-C light to trigger the vine’s defences, in the largest UV living lab in the field.
